SGP format - The basics\n\n Every FIM Speedway Grand Prix round features 16 riders, racing each other over 20 high-intensity heats. Each heat features four riders taking four laps of the track with all the action crammed into around ONE MINUTE.
A sprint race is essentially a shortened version of a normal race, taking place over a shorter distance of 100km.
