After three years of dating, Ackles became engaged to actress and model Danneel Harris in November 2009. The couple married on May 15, 2010, in Dallas. Their first child, a daughter, was born in May 2013.
The actor has a devoted fan base and was voted "Sexiest TV Star" in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive 2024: Readers' Choice Poll. But his No. 1 fan remains his wife, actress Danneel Ackles. Jensen and Danneel, who is best known for her role on One Tree Hill, wed in 2010 and went on to welcome three children together.
